2012 Wind-Wildlife Research Meeting: Register Now to Save!
Registration is open for the Ninth Wind Wildlife Research Meeting, which will be held in Denver, Colorado, November 27-30, 2012. The internationally-recognized biennial event is convened by the Wildlife Workgroup of the National Wind Coordinating Collaborative (NWCC) and presented by AWWI, which facilitates the NWCC. Dr. Taber Allison, AWWI’s Director of Research and Evaluation, will chair the Meeting.
Registration: Early bird registration rates expire at midnight on October 5, so be sure to register now to save. AWWI Sustaining Partner organizations will receive a discounted rate of 15% for up to three employees. Please visit the meeting website for registration.
Agenda: The draft agenda for the meeting is now available here. Over 100 abstracts were submitted for the event, the largest number ever and a 50% increase over the 2010 Research Meeting. Meeting sessions include:
