AWWI has issued two new fact sheets, which are now downloadable from the AWWI website.
“AWWI’s Eagle Initiative: Advancing Wind Energy, Protecting Eagles” describes how AWWI’s Eagle Initiative will advance the permitting of wind energy facilities while conserving eagle populations and includes key findings from AWWI’s White Paper on Eagles and Wind Energy. The fact sheet is featured in the section of the website that describes AWWI’s Mitigation initiative.
“AWWI’s Research Information System: Leveraging the Data, Improving Wind-Wildlife Analysis” explains how AWWI’s unique Research Information System, when completed, will expand the availability of wind-wildlife data and thereby improve risk analysis, minimize impacts, enhance permit review, and lower siting and operational costs. The fact sheet is posted in the section about AWWI’s Data Repository initiative.
