AWWI’s Allison Discusses Wind Wildlife on December 21

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Wind Powering America 2011 webinar series will conclude this year with a focus on “Wind and Wildlife Interactions” and feature as a guest speaker AWWI Director of Research and Evaluation Dr. Taber Allison.  The webinar will be held on December 21 at 3pm EST and is free to the public.  Dr. Allison will provide an overview of wind turbine and wildlife issues, as well as a summary of research plans and initiatives by the American Wind and Wildlife Institute (AWWI).  Other topics covered during the Webinar will include an update on the wind energy guidelines being finalized by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and on bat/wind turbine interactions.  You are invited to join!
