AWWI Joins 1% for the Planet and Receives end-of-year 2009 Contribution from JFNew Ecological Services

AWWI thanks the midwest-based ecological services firm, JFNew, for its end-of-year 2009 contribution. JFNew’s management team helped to make AWWI aware of the Vermont-based non-profit, 1% for the Planet, which has spurred members in the corporate world to contribute 1% of annual sales to non-profit groups focusing on environmental and ecological sustainability. 1% for the Planet’s worldwide movement currently encompasses 1,213 companies and 1,968 environmental organizations and is growing rapidly. Through 1% for the Planet, JFNew, a corporate member, contributed a portion of their annual sales to AWWI, a new non-profit member. To learn more, visit 1% for the Planet and JFNew.
